What does watching the blossoming pear tree make Janie realize? What does she do in response to this "awakening" and how does her grandmother view her actions? Who do you find the most sympathetic and why? What does Janie's grandmother mean when she says she wants her to "pick from a higher bush and a sweeter berry"? (p. 13) Contrast Janie and Nanny's views of love. How have their life experiences impacted their perspective?
As Janie is watching the blossoming pear tree it makes her feel the love that she wants to experience or the nasty. She then goes to look for this love then she saw Johnny Taylor and she kissed him and her grandmother show this action as she is a grown women know.I feel more sympathetic for is Janie because she just wanted to found this love but really didn't know were it's at. I think she means is that she wants her granddaughter to pick someone with alot of respect.Janie view of love is were you feel the love and Nanny view of love is were you don't have love for that person it's just were you have respect and protection. I would say there life experiences has a different impacted on both on them because Nanny as way more of a rough life. But Janie is just getting into life.
