U. S. History students will have a quiz tomorrow on chapter 16, section 3. If you missed the mini project, then you have until Friday to turn it in. You need to design a campain button, bumper sticker, or poster supporting one if the candidates for the 1892 election. It must be colorful and have a slogan that has something to do with the party platform and names the candidate. For background information, make sure you have the assignment called "Political party Platforms in 1892" from off of the absentee board. The four candidates were Grover Cleveland, Democrat; Bejamin Harrison, Republican; John Bidwell, Prohibition; and James Weaver, Populist. If you missed class you missed notes called "Race Relations in the Gilded Age". These are on your wiki page and under the "presentations" link on my Carver webpage. **IMPORTANT NOTE** All U. S. History students need to purchase Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neal Hurston. We will start reading these books as soon as we return from Thanksgiving break.
