Homecoming week changes
Due to this week's homecoming activities and PLAN testing, our classroom schedule will change. U. S. History students will have a quiz on chapter 16 section 1 tomorrow, but the mini project scheduled to be given out on Friday will be moved to next week. Both Government and U. S. History will have their notebook test this Friday. Because Friday is the last day of the nine weeks, there will be no make-up day for the notebook test. If you will not be here Friday, then you MUST take your notebook test Thursday after school. Make-up day will be tomorrow (Wednesday) during class for those of you who are in class. Those students taking the ASVAB or attending the Homecoming Coronation ceremony will need to come before or after school this week to make up any missed tests or quizzes. Government students please remember that your current My Big Campus assignment is due tomorrow before midnight.

U. S. History: Your chapter 15 test is this Wednesday. There is a study guide online on the Carver webpage under the "forms" link and on the class wiki page. Your PhotoStory project is due this FRiday. Late projects will not be accepted. Several of you have been bringing your projects early and they are not saved correctly so they won't show. Remember, if you are using Movie Maker, you MUST click "Save Movie File", NOT "save project" or "save project as". The you must right click and send it to your flash drive. If you are using PhotoStory, you have to save for playback on your computer, then send it to your flash drive. You CANNOT click "save project" or it will save incorrectly. Remember you MUST turn in your rubric when you submit your project or I will deduct five points. No you may not go and get it from your locker, your last period class, copy somebody's in the library, etc. Have all your materials together when you turn in your project. Government: Many of you did not submit your last MBC assignment. This was a major grade, and those who did not submit that assignment have received a zero as a major grade. I will be posting a new assignment online Wednesday. Do not fail to submit this one, or your grade will not be able to recover this nine weeks. Your chapter 4 test is tomorrow. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your rap project due date has been changed to Monday October 15th.
